Sarasota & Manatee County's Premier Cycling Club
The Village Idiots Cycling Club (VICC) is a nonprofit, USA Cycling registered club serving Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Our members range from club riders to racers, triathletes, mountain bikers, and experienced road cyclists, all united by a love of cycling.
Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment where cyclists can improve their skills, challenge themselves, build friendships, and give back to the community through advocacy and charitable events, including our annual Women On Wheels (WOW) Ride benefiting
Selah Freedom.
Ride With Us
We ride throughout Bradenton, Sarasota, and Lakewood Ranch,
with weekly group rides for a variety of abilities:
- Wednesday Night Worlds – 6:00 PM from Lakewood Ranch Main Street
- Saturday Morning Ride – 7:30 AM from Waterside Place
From beginner groups riding 14–16 mph to advanced groups riding 18–26 mph, there's a place for everyone. Our ride leaders help ensure a safe, welcoming experience while providing guidance on group riding and pace line skills.
More Than Just Riding
In addition to our weekly rides, we host a Start of Season Party, End of Season Party, and Annual Holiday Party, along with club events, charity rides, and social gatherings throughout the year. We encourage members to get involved, volunteer, participate in club activities, and help shape the future of VICC.
